چکیده
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia is a rare disease characterized by the appearance of anti-erythrocyte autoantibodies and subsequent destruction red blood cells immune system. The mechanisms erythrocytes loaded with are well studied; however, initial that trigger production antibodies to own antigens remain unclear. In pathogenesis autoimmune anemia, an important role played impaired immunological tolerance, in which T-lymphocytes play key role. study subpopulation patients flow cytometry can provide valuable information for studying developing new approaches its treatment.

The Clinical Pictures of Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia is characterized by shortened red blood cell survival and a positive Coombs test. The responsible autoantibodies may be either warm reactive or cold reactive. The rate of hemolysis and the severity of the anemia may vary from mild to severe and life-threatening. Diagnosis is made in the laboratory by the findings of anemia, reticulocytosis, a positive Coombs test, an...
متن کاملThe treatment of autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
By ROBERT SCHWARTZ AND WILLIAM DAMESHEK P RIOR TO 1949, the treatment of autoimmune hemolytic anemia ( AIHA) was frequently disappointing. Despite splenectomy and the use of blood transfusions, many patients had an unremitting and progressively deteriorating course which ended fatally. With the introduction of ACTH and cortisone, the treatment of this disorder was greatly facilitated and benefi...
متن کاملAutoimmune Hemolytic Anemia preceding the Diagnosis of Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma
In this study, a 2.5-year-old boy suffering from a febrile seizure with normal laboratory tests and a history of immune hemolytic anemia was examined. Brain MRI demonstrated some tumors in the frontal, parietal, and occipital lobe that corroborated the pathology results of primary central nervous system lymphoma for the patient. The patient was treated with high- dose of Methotrexate. Our re...
متن کاملThe Lbw2 locus promotes autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
The lupus-prone New Zealand Black (NZB) strain uniquely develops a genetically imposed severe spontaneous autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) that is very similar to the corresponding human disease. Previous studies have mapped anti-erythrocyte Ab (AEA)-promoting NZB loci to several chromosomal locations, including chromosome 4; however, none of these have been analyzed with interval congenics. ...
